Despite going through an ugly breakup, Tom Brady and his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, remain cordial. The Brazilian supermodel recently tied the knot in a private ceremony with longtime boyfriend Joaquim Valente.

While the event was secret for many people until weeks later, the seven-time Super Bowl champion was aware of the ceremony beforehand. A report from Star Magazine suggested that Bundchen let Brady know about her plans, as they want to remain cordial for their children’s sake.

“Gisele gave Tom a heads up beforehand; they’re civil for the sake of the kids,” a source told Star.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen were married for 13 years. They tied the knot in 2009, becoming a true power couple in the NFL. While Brady collected Super Bowl rings, Bundchen enjoyed a successful career as a model. They raised two kids together.

They divorced in October 2022, with Brady transitioning into a broadcasting career while becoming an NFL owner. Bundchen moved on with her career and personal life with Valente by her side.

After Bundchen married Valente, many wondered how Brady felt about it. On a similar note, the legendary quarterback decided to keep it classy with his ex-wife and accepted her new marriage. A December report from the Daily Mail shed light on Brady’s feelings, who didn’t want any drama involving his kids as the holidays were drawing closer.

Brady discussed his relationship with Bundchen post-divorce, saying they were in an “amicable situation.”

“I think there’s a lot of professionals in life that go through things that they deal with at work and they deal with at home,” he said. “Obviously, the good news is it’s a very amicable situation, and I’m really focused on two things: taking care of my family, and certainly my children, and secondly doing the best job I can to win football games. That’s what professionals do.”

Meanwhile, Brady had fun and partying with Alix Earle on New Year’s.
