The Green Bay Packers have been hit with yet another serious injury, this one possibly season-ending, with defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt having been carted off on Thursday.

Wyatt, a first-round pick by the Packers in 2022, is believed to have sustained a broken ankle while playing the Detroit Lions in the first game of the NFL’s Thanksgiving slate.

The former Georgia star got hurt while teammate Micah Parsons was going for a sack on Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff late in the fourth quarter.

Parsons completed the sack, but a teammate fell into Wyatt’s left leg, which ended up getting twisted under him.

The 2022 28th overall pick was subsequently carted off the field.

The Packers, who won 31-24, ruled Wyatt out with an ankle injury shortly after.

“Devonte Wyatt is out with an ankle injury,” the team announced via X.

Popular sports doctor Jesse Morse reckons the DL is done for the season.

“Devonte Wyatt,” Morse tweeted. “Concern for left ankle fracture. Potentially season-ending.”

The Lions also lost wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown to an ankle injury in the first quarter on Thursday.
