How long does Stafford play? Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Moon, Favre, etc as a guide? (7 replies)

There are many “older QBs” who have played very well at advanced football age:

Brady – at 44 was a pro bowler and had 102 QB rating
Brees – from age 37- 40 was a pro bowler; at age 41, his last year, had a 106 QB rating
Rodgers – is 42 now and has a QB rating this year of 105.
Moon – pro bowl at 41
Farve – 4th in MVP vote at 40
Rivers – 97 QB rating at 39
Manning – pro bowl at 38
Elway – pro bowl at 38 his last year

In my opinion, Stafford’s ability is in the same ballpark as the above QBs.

If Stafford can remain healthy, he can play well for 3 or 4 more years in my opinion.
