The Indianapolis Colts were dealt a significant blow early in Sunday’s pivotal clash with the Houston Texans, with All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner having to leave in the first quarter with a calf injury.

Gardner was covering Texans tight end Cade Stover when he suffered the injury on a non-contact play. He limped off the field and was ruled out of the game soon after, though the bigger concern here is a potential long-term injury.
