Interesting Pregame Moment Involving Troy Aikman & Jerry Rice Suggests They Hate Each Other [VIDEO]

Troy Aikman and Jerry Rice both helped define an era of American football, crossing paths at crucial periods during their illustrious careers. 

There has to be mutual respect between the pair, yet that didn’t appear to be the case on Saturday night. 

Aikman was on hand to call the game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks. Rice is almost always around to support his old team, who lost 13-3 on the night, missing out on the NFC’s No. 1 spot.

Cameras caught a curious interaction between the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and 49ers wide receiver before the contest. Well, it wasn’t an interaction at all; they didn’t acknowledge each other. 

“No love between Troy Aikman and Jerry Rice 😭🤣,” 95.7 The Game captioned a video of the icons ignoring each other.

“This is what Cardi B means when she says, “if I see you & I don’t speak, that means I don’t fk with you” 😂😂😂,” one fan joked.

“Haven’t they both appeared in tv ads together before?” another asked.

Another observed, “They both wearing the same big a$$ white weird shoes 😂😂😂.”

What they didn’t show was this video of the two embracing either before or after. 

Furthermore, there’s no known animosity between Troy and Jerry. They met in three consecutive NFC Championship Games and had notable battles, but there was no personal rivalry.

Rice’s most notable rivalry was with Deion Sanders, who played with both the Cowboys and Niners at different points. Even so, it was never ugly.
