Green Bay Packers superstar linebacker Micah Parsons and Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid had a wholesome jersey exchange after the Dallas Stars took care of business at the American Airlines Center on Thursday night.
In a rematch of the 2025 Western Conference Final, the Stars hammered McDavid’s Oilers 7-2 to secure the season-series sweep. As nice as the win was for Stars fans, we’re sure that they weren’t happy to learn that the ex-Dallas Cowboys star was also in the building.
After the game, the Oilers’ official X/Twitter account shared a photo of Connor McDavid and Micah Parsons completing a jersey swap. Each player wrote a special message to the other before they posed for the image:

After a contract dispute, Parsons was traded to the Packers in August for two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark.
Packers Are Early Winners Of The Micah Parsons Trade

The Cowboys’ defense sorely missed Parsons, to say the least. They finished with the NFL’s worst scoring defense (30.1 points allowed a game, per Pro Football Reference), leading to the dismissal of defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus.
Green Bay’s defense reached another level with Parsons. He was in the middle of a career year before suffering a torn ACL in Week 15 against the Denver Broncos. Otherwise, there’s no telling how far Green Bay could have gone in the playoffs.
Time will tell if Jerry Jones makes the most of the draft capital he got for Parsons. But seeing how both defensive units performed in 2025, it’s clear that Green Bay is the early winner.
