The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly have an interest in trading for Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby. And, according to one NFL source, they are willing to part with Jalen Carter to make it happen.
Carter hasn’t been around too long, yet he has established himself as a bona fide star in the league. The ninth-overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the former Georgia standout has already earned two Pro Bowl selections and a second-team All-Pro spot.
The Eagles obviously value Carter. However, they will face a big decision once he becomes eligible for an extension and will have to break the bank to keep him if he continues along his current trajectory.
If social media insider “Rickey Scoops” is to be believed, they may never even get to that bridge.
According to the account, the Eagles have made Carter available in trade talks for Crosby.
“Hearing that the Eagles have made Jalen Carter available in their pursuit for Raiders Maxx Crosby,” he posted on Friday.“You ready to let the dogs out.”

While he’s no Adam Schefter or Ian Rapoport, “Rickey Scoops” has made some big claims in the past that turned out to be true.
He was the first to break the Micah Parsons trade last September and was also the first account to report that John Harbaugh would take charge of the New York Giants.
Fans know Rickey’s good for a legitimate scoop every now and then, which is why they’re in panic mode.

The Chicago Bears remain the favorites to land Maxx Crosby. But the Raiders would definitely consider sending him to Philly if Jalen Carter really becomes available.
