Jameis Winston is getting some extra attention during the Giants’ bye week. FOX Sports announced that the New York Giants quarterback will appear on FOX NFL Kickoff and FOX NFL Sunday this weekend. Winston is already comfortable on TV, he worked Super Bowl LIX for FOX and went viral several times that week.

The timing works well for him. The Giants don’t play, and Winston has already started two games this season. He has thrown for 567 yards, two passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, two interceptions, and has an 83.3 passer rating. He has completed 56.9% of his passes. It’s a small sample, but he has helped the Giants find a bit of rhythm during a rough stretch.

FOX saw his personality firsthand during Super Bowl week. Winston danced around New Orleans, tried local food, and asked fun questions during Opening Night. One moment got a lot of attention, he asked Eagles star Saquon Barkley where he should sign in free agency. Winston later followed that advice and joined the Giants.

Winston Steps Back Into The Studio

Winston brings a decade of NFL experience, and that makes his TV analysis valuable. Fans enjoy his upbeat personality and honest style, and he clearly enjoys being on camera. Returning to FOX feels natural for him.

The move also comes as another Giants quarterback heads to TV. CBS Sports announced that Russell Wilson will appear on The NFL Today and NFL Today+ in Week 14. Both quarterbacks will be in studio during the team’s break, and both will grab attention.

Wilson may still want to play in 2026. Winston hasn’t said anything about a long-term TV career, but these opportunities can lead to future roles. Networks like quarterbacks who speak clearly and know the game well. Winston fits that mold. His run during Super Bowl week showed it.

So while the Giants are on a bye, both quarterbacks will stay active. Winston will appear on FOX, trying out the media world again. Wilson will join CBS as a guest analyst. Neither will be on the field, but both will stay in front of fans.
