The news this week is that Jay-Z has reportedly selected himself to headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show. As the head of Roc Nation, he chose himself over other considered acts like Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

The NFL first hired Jay-Z in 2019 to produce the Super Bowl halftime show, with a renewal in 2024.

Despite all of the speculation, neither the league nor the legendary rapper has confirmed anything. Aside from him, many are speculating what acts he could be performing with him.

Beyoncé Holds 60% Chance to Perform at Super Bowl Halftime

With Jay-Z being the main Super Bowl act, there have been rumors of who might be on stage with him. Consequently, it seems to be his own wife.

Beyoncé has an estimated 60% chance of making an appearance or performing as a guest at the Super Bowl LXI halftime show. There is no confirmed Beyoncé appearance attached, but it makes so much sense.

She is the most decorated artist in Grammy history, with 35 Grammy Awards from 99 nominations. The star also holds over 50 wins at the MTV Video Music Awards, standing as the most-awarded artist in VMA history.

At the BET Awards, she has 54 wins, the most of any individual artist. Beyoncé’s latest studio album, Cowboy Carter, released in 2024, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

If she performs at Super Bowl 61, it won’t be the first time; her last appearance was in 2016, where she joined headliners Coldplay and Bruno Mars as a special guest.

She previously headlined the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show in 2013.
