Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh is a fan of Justin Herbert on and off the field.

This week, he spoke ot reporters regarding Herbert’s recent absence, following his whirlwind trip to Europe with Madison Beer. The Chargers quarterback missed Phase 2 of the team’s offseason program to support his girlfriend.

Herbert joined her to support the early European leg of her “The Locket Tour” this month. He accompanied her, starting with the opening show in Kraków, Poland, and traveled with her to other stops like Amsterdam and Paris, per ESPN.

With his absence came many questions about whether Justin Herbert was focused on the upcoming season.

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh really loves his quarterback. Harbaugh told reporters, “I’ll drive you to the airport if you need, bro,” in an effort to offer support for Herbert and Madison Beer.

“I was happy he went to support Madison on her music tour. Madison supports him at the football games. He told me he wasn’t gonna be here for those two weeks, and my first reaction was, ‘Do you need a ride to the airport?’” Harbaugh said.

Madison Beer kicked off her Locket Tour earlier this month. Herbert was there when she performed her hit “15 MINUTES” with a choreographed dance routine, one of the opening-night highlights. That was a talk about moment since she was up close and personal with her male dancers.

The couple has been turning heads recently, appearing courtside at a Lakers game and sporting matching sailor costumes for Halloween over the past few months. What began as dating rumors has quickly evolved into a very public romance, complete with plenty of PDA.

During the 2025 NFL regular season, Justin Herbert started 16 games, passing for 3,727 yards and 26 touchdowns. Unfortunately, he fell to 0-3 in the postseason.
