Indianapolis Colts star Jonathan Taylor is back again in the news. The veteran running back continues to shine with the Colts, even though the team sits 2-5 after losing to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

The days leading up to the game featured multiple reports about Taylor’s future, including multiple contenders joining the list of potential landing spots for the star. His wife, Ayanna, shared two TikTok videos over the weekend to address all the rumors around her husband.

She noted that this was the first season in which the couple felt the Colts could move Taylor. She added that after the 2025 campaign went from best to worst, the team’s fortunes declined. In another video, she explained how Taylor became the team’s most valuable asset after he inked a two-year, $44 million extension in the offseason.

“That’s what brings us back to my husband,” Ayanna Taylor said. She added, “Do they keep him as a contender moving forward in the future? Or do they just trade him and cut their losses for as much assets and value as they can?”

After losing to the Vikings on Sunday, when he logged 18 carries for 95 yards and one touchdown, Taylor told reporters how he felt about his wife’s comments.

“I think it’s been out there already, so I think her adding (to it) doesn’t really change anything,” Taylor said. “You know everybody’s on TikTok these days. So, you just have to come into work and stay focused.”

Taylor said last week he hadn’t paid much attention to the trade deadline. Instead, he stays focused on the job ahead. His wife made a compelling case to suspect NFL teams will try to make a run for his services, but nothing is certain at this point.
