Green Bay Packers superstar Jordan Love sent a clear message to the NFL after the Packers lost 20-17 to the Detroit Lions in Week 7.

Multiple official decisions raised eyebrows during that game. Alex Moore’s crew called eight penalties against the Packers that day, which cost them 81 yards. The most controversial calls were roughing-the-passer calls against defensive linemen Brenton Cox Jr. and Karl Brooks.

Halloween 2026 is now in the books, but that didn’t stop Love and his wife, Ronika, from taking a not-so-subtle dig at NFL officials.

The quarterback and his wife dressed up as blind NFL referees who threw penalties for no reason.

Fans reacted to the costumes in the comments section, with the vast majority speculating about what the NFL could do in this situation.

“No more roughing the passer flags for you!” one said.

“Unfortunately the NFL will take it out on him. Jordan will continue to take cheap shots and no flag,” another said.

“Fining a player for a Halloween costume would be just the perfect ‘we have lost the plot’ move by the NFL,” one wrote.

“The fact his wife fell like the ref in the lions game and threw the flag 😆😆😆😆 I give it an A,” someone said.

“he should fine the nfl for not getting a single call this season,” another declared.

“That’s my qb man,” one said.

The NFL has yet to address this situation. The Packers face the Patriots in Week 9.
