Josh Jacobs’ Arrest Ignites Blockbuster Trade Rumor With Eagles
This article was originally published on Total Pro Sports.

The Green Bay Packers could miss Josh Jacobs for several games in the 2026 NFL season. The Hobart-Lawrence (Wisconsin) Police arrested the star running back on Tuesday and booked him on several domestic violence charges.
Jacobs, 28, was booked on charges of battery (domestic abuse, criminal damage to property), domestic abuse, disorderly conduct (domestic abuse, strangulation and suffocation) and intimidation of a victim.
This situation screams trouble for the Packers. They could lose Jacobs for multiple weeks, which could open the door for a potential trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.
NFL Fans Disagree With Projected Josh Jacobs Trade

“SleeperEagles” on X floated a trade idea, projecting a trade that would send Will Shipley and a seventh-round pick in 2027 to Green Bay in exchange for a Packers’ fifth-round pick next year.
With Josh Jacobs potentially facing NFL discipline after an alleged incident, the #Packers could call about Will Shipley.

Shipley, 23, has played two seasons in the NFL. He has carried the ball 44 times for 131 yards. While not precisely a superstar, perhaps a chance of scenery could give him the tools to shine.
