Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has officially revealed new details regarding his whirlwind summer engagement.
Herbert proposed to Grammy-nominated pop singer Madison Beer. The couple officially announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on July 28, 2026. The pair initially sparked dating rumors in August 2025 when Herbert visited the set of one of Beer’s music video shoots.
They confirmed their romance publicly in October 2025 with a highly publicized sideline kiss before a Chargers game. Right before the start of the 2026 training camp, Herbert proposed under a picturesque, floral outdoor arbor.

Speaking candidly with media personnel, the twenty-eight-year-old athlete confirmed his recent proposal to pop star Madison Beer.

With a grin, Herbert admitted: ‘The proposal, for sure.’
Furthermore, head coach Jim Harbaugh explicitly voiced immense shared excitement for his franchise quarterback’s personal development.

During the 2025 NFL regular season, the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback threw for 3,727 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions across 16 games. His performance earned him a 94.1 passer rating and his second career Pro Bowl selection.
