Two concerts that were scheduled to be headlined by Kid Rock have been canceled in a surprise turn of events.

Earlier this week, Turning Point USA announced that Kid Rock would perform in their “All-American Halftime Show”, an alternative performance to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl 60 halftime show.

The 55-year-old is part of a star-studded lineup for the 2026 “Rock the Country” tour with multiple stops scheduled around the United States. However, two of the scheduled dates have been canceled.

Officials informed The Post and Courier that the July 25-26 events in Anderson County, South Carolina, have been canceled. The decision was made after multiple performers decided to drop out:

“This summer’s “Rock The County” multiday concert, part of a MAGA-friendly series headlined by country music stars Kid Rock and Jason Aldean, has been canceled as artists once part of the tour have dropped out — with at least one citing political division.

Anderson County, which stood to benefit financially from the rock-country event’s multimillion-dollar economic impact, was informed the night of Feb. 5 that the two-day concert had been canceled, Administrator Rusty Burns told The Post and Courier Feb. 6.”

Shinedown announced they were dropping out to avoid causing more political division. Carter Faith, Ludacris and Morgan Wade were also part of the original lineup before deciding to exit.

TPUSA’s show will also include performances from Gabby Barrett, Brantley Gilbert and Lee Brice. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed announced that President Donald Trump will watch TPUSA’s show instead of Bad Bunny.

President Trump has been heavily critical of the NFL’s decision to pick Bad Bunny for its halftime show. But commissioner Roger Goodell has passionately defended the decision, citing Bad Bunny’s significant global popularity.

Kid Rock is one of the most outspoken celebrities who supports President Trump. He performed at the 2024 Republican National Convention and visited Trump at the Oval Office last March.
