Lamar Jackson Blockbuster Trade Could Be Coming, According To NFL Insider

Two years after the NFL decided not to trade for Lamar Jackson, 31 teams could have the opportunity to land the two-time MVP again. Adding a player of his caliber would elevate any team’s chances of winning the Super Bowl.
Jackson has two years left on the five-year, $260 million contract he agreed to in April 2023. His future appears to be written in stone. However, ESPN’s Dan Graziano said on Tuesday that the Ravens will have two options for Jackson: extend him or gauge interest in a potential trade.
“It is time to address Lamar’s contract again,” Graziano said. “He has two years left with no guarantees and if they do nothing at all, the cap number for him is $75 million after next year, so they need to either extend him or see if they want to take it out for a spin on the trade market … look, it’s Year 8 with him as a starter and they have 3 playoff wins with Lamar Jackson with teams built entirely around him. Maybe they start to think he’s just not going to ever get it done.”
Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. However, it’s not a secret that his lack of success in the playoffs has been a stain on his resume.
Lamar Jackson’s Ravens couldn’t keep up with the Patriots on SNF

Lamar Jackson and Co. missed out on a big chance to enter Week 17 with chances to challenge the Pittsburgh Steelers for the AFC North title. The New England Patriots had different plans and gave the Ravens their eighth loss of the season (28-24) behind a 15-point fourth quarter.
Jackson exited the game with a back injury with 1:56 left in the second quarter. He finished 7 of 10 for 101 yards. Tyler Huntley replaced him and finished 9 of 19 for 65 yards.
Jackson’s future hasn’t been the only one under scrutiny. Head coach John Harbaugh isn’t on the best of terms with Jackson this season. The Ravens will take on the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. They can stay in the race for the division title with a win.
