Lamar Jackson Has Made It Very Clear Who He Wants The Baltimore Ravens To Go Out & Get

Lamar Jackson reportedly has one coach in mind for the offensive coordinator position with the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens are searching for a new head coach following John Harbaugh’s termination. Harbaugh has already found a new job, filling the HC vacancy with the New York Giants.
While he’s familiarizing himself with his new surroundings, Jackson is understood to be keen to work under Kliff Kingsbury.
According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the two-time MVP has a bit of a role to play in the Ravens’ hiring affairs. She says the QB would like to see Kingsbury brought in should the team hire a defensive-minded HC.
“The plan for OC has to be there, Kliff Kingsbury is a name that’s out there,” Russini said on ‘The Herd with Colin Cowherd’.“I can tell you, I know for a fact, Lamar Jackson and those receivers would like Kliff Kingsbury to run their offense. They have shown support, they have been vocal about it. They’ve been part of some of these interviews.”
Lamar Jackson Is Plugged In

Russini also noted that Jackson is all in on the hiring cycle.
“Lamar Jackson is part of these,” the insider continued.“He’s zooming in, he’s in touch with the decision-makers, of what he likes, who he’s liked.”
Kliff Kingsbury is a free agent, having parted ways with the Washington Commanders this week.
The 46-year-old is the former head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. He previously coached at Texas Tech (HC) and USC (OC).
He returned to USC as a quarterbacks coach after the Cardinals fired him on the back of a four-year stint. The Washington Commanders hired him as their OC in 2024 before letting him go on Tuesday.
Of note, Jackson’s name has come up in trade rumors. But, if Russini is to be believed, it doesn’t appear that he’s going anywhere.
