It seems as if Lamar Jackson has a team in mind amid trade rumors.

Amid Championship week, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback has kicked up rumors about possibly being traded. It all started with a sweet picture of a kid rocking his jersey. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback, 2-time NFL MVP and likely future Pro Football Hall of Famer, sent the internet into a frenzy on Thursday by retweeting the post.

Aside from the picture, it said something about him being traded to the Las Vegas Raiders. “Is this a good time to point out my (then) 3-year-old MAY have predicted the potential move of Lamar Jackson to the Raiders?” X user Shantel Lopez wrote.

The picture showed a smiling young boy in Lamar Jackson’s No. 8 Ravens jersey, holding a miniature football with the Raiders logo. This was Jackson’s first tweet since January 4.

This is not exactly the news the Ravens want to hear. They are fresh off firing John Harbaugh earlier this month after the team missed the playoffs. In the meantime, Jackson reportedly wants the team to sign Kliff Kingsbury as the team’s new head coach.

Multiple people across the NFL forecasted that the Baltimore Ravens would trade Lamar Jackson to the Las Vegas Raiders. Those comments came when asked to make a “bold prediction” about the 2026 season, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Despite not requesting a trade, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback finds himself at the center of trade rumors. It was his own doing when he retweeted a post on X. A Ravens fan posted an alleged picture of his son wearing a Jackson jersey, but the caption mentioned the Raiders. Jackson decided to repost the message, which quickly poured gasoline on the Raiders trade rumors.

However, the two-time MVP clarified why he reposted. “Lol I just posted the kid in the jersey didn’t even read the caption,” Jackson wrote on X.

Jackson is signed for two more seasons on a contract that is currently set to cost the Ravens $74.5 million in 2026.
