Las Vegas Raiders Superstar TE Brock Bowers Is Officially Done

Brock Bowers won’t play another snap during the 2025 NFL season.

The Raiders tight end came into the season with a new haircut. He certainly played like a new man. Unfortunately, it will end with him not being able to finish out the season. The Las Vegas Raiders are placing TE Brock Bowers on injured reserve, per Tom Pelissero.

The team elected to shut Bowers down so he could go ahead and get the knee injury he’s been managing all season taken care of. Pelissero added that the Raiders are also placing S Jeremy Chinn on IR.

Las Vegas was eliminated from playoff contention when it still had five games to play. The team was 2-10 at the time. They still have two wins and 13 losses as of this writing. Bowers has been a bright spot in a down season.

Raiders tight end Brock Bowers’s second NFL season has come to a close. The Raiders have placed Bowers on season-ending injured reserve due to a knee injury.

Las Vegas is in the middle of a nine-game losing streak ahead of its Week 17 matchup against the Giants. They are playing for draft position at this point.

Bowers missed Weeks 5, 6, and 7 as he was sidelined due to a PCL injury in his knee. He returned in Week 9 against the Jaguars. Despite missing three games, the second-year tight end leads the Raiders across the board. Brock Bowers ends his year with 64 receptions for 680 yards and seven touchdowns.

He has been named a Pro Bowler in each of his first two NFL seasons. The 13th pick in the 2024 NFL draft led the team in receiving as a rookie. Brock Bowers had 112 catches for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns.

The team wraps up its season with a home finale against the Chiefs.
