Maxx Crosby is one of the most sought-after defensive players this offseason, having signaled that he’s done with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The five-time Pro Bowler “left the building” after the team shut him down toward the end of the 2025 regular season. It does not appear they’ve mended fences, despite a new coach coming in.

Multiple teams are believed to be interested, including the Chicago Bears, who NFL insider Tom Pelissero has touted as the perfect landing spot.

“If I’m thinking who are the teams that make sense for Maxx Crosby, a few that would come to mind would be the Chicago Bears, a team that people will remember swung another trade with the Raiders for a high-profile pass rusher in Khalil Mack some years ago,” Pelissero said on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’ on Monday night.

Interesting Trade Proposal Includes A Star Wide Receiver

Pelissero suggested that the defensive end could be the missing piece for the Bears as they try to build a contender and further improve after a sensational first season under Ben Johnson.

“They feel like they’re close, they were right there at the end in the playoffs. Could Maxx Crosby be somebody who puts them over the top and elevates that pass rush. I think that would be a fit,” the reporter continued.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN has put together a trade package he reckons could see the Bears acquire the 28-year-old.

It includes wide receiver D.J. Moore, a 2026 first-round pick and a 2027 third-round pick.

The Bears are also the betting favorites to land Crosby at +200.

Meanwhile, the Raiders have revealed their asking price for the player: two first-round picks.

While Fowler has only proposed one first-rounder, Moore plus a third would probably get Vegas to reconsider.
