After his botched trade to the Baltimore Ravens in the spring, Maxx Crosby’s name was constantly mentioned in trade rumors throughout the offseason.

In 2025, Crosby signed a lucrative $106.5 million extension with the Las Vegas Raiders. Truth be told, if a five-time Pro Bowl could be had in a trade, most teams would try to join in on the fun. However, aside from the failed Ravens deal, the 29-year-old remained in Las Vegas.

If things go south again, the Los Angeles Rams are reportedly among the teams that have shown interest in Crosby.

According to Tom Pelissero of The Sweep, the Rams were very interested in Crosby.

“They (Rams) also called and kept tabs on Maxx Crosby, who ended up back in Las Vegas after a blockbuster deal with the Ravens came apart in March over concerns about the knee Crosby had repaired in January,” Pelissero wrote.

It was also noted that Crosby wasn’t too keen on leaving the Raiders. He took the failed trade as a sign that he’ll stay in Las Vegas.

But just imagine if the Rams had their hands on Maxx Crosby and Myles Garrett. Every quarterback in the league would fear the Rams’ defensive unit.

Cowboys Also Predicted To Make A Run For Crosby

Before Week 1, the Dallas Cowboys reportedly made some additional wiggle room in their salary cap situation. The team restructured the deals of Kenny Clark, DaRon Bland, and Jake Ferguson.

Are they looking at a deal for Maxx Crosby sometime in the season? ESPN’s Todd Archer heavily implied that the team might do such a deal on or before the trade deadline.

“If the Cowboys want to make a significant trade before the deadline later this season, theoretically, they would have the room to do so,” Archer wrote.

Crosby in a Cowboys uniform? The city of Dallas would probably celebrate if the team could pull that off. But as mentioned earlier, the Rams are still interested in Crosby.

Plus, so are other teams in the league.
