Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce officially got married Friday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The ceremony brought together family and close friends as the couple celebrated one of the joyous moments of their lives.

The wedding included several personal touches. Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her “Man of Honor,” while Jason Kelce stood beside his brother as best man. The couple chose not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen.

Swift and Kelce also wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture designs. According to a statement from Christian Dior, “They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom.” The fashion house also said, “This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”

The celebration did not end after the ceremony. Madison Square Garden displayed a large message outside the venue that read, “JUST&T MARRIED!”

The sign spread across social media, where many fans shared mixed reactions.

One fan wrote, “Refused to comment on this wedding until now but ‘just&t married!’ has to be the worst thing i’ve seen yet. Be so for real.”

Another fan commented, “This further proves the point that they didn’t want a secret wedding, they wanted privacy to celebrate with their friends and family and will share with us as soon as they want to.

Not everyone appreciated the public display. One social media user asked, “Does anyone else find this just a bit nauseating.”

Another person criticized the decision, writing, “Having billboards up after getting married at Madison Square Garden might actually be the tackiest thing this woman has ever done.”

The celebration reached beyond the arena. Late Friday night, the Empire State Building Observation Deck shared a video of the landmark lit up with the caption, “Her something blue.”

And this showed that New York embraced the couple’s wedding during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
