The Manning family continues to produce quarterbacks, and now Marshall Manning is next up.

Before Marshall was followed during high school, Arch Manning was. He was a five-star recruit and the consensus number-one overall quarterback in the class of 2023. Prior to Texas, he starred at Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, following in the footsteps of his famous uncles, Peyton and Eli Manning.

He became Newman’s first freshman starting quarterback in decades, throwing for 2,509 yards and 34 touchdowns in his debut year. It was obvious that he was going to be the next star. He showed great arm talent, mobility, and high football IQ, making him the most hyped prospect in the country.

While Arch’s story is still being written, Marshall Manning is just getting his started.

The legendary football dynasty officially welcomed its newest star to the varsity stage this week. Highly touted class of 2030 quarterback Marshall Manning finally made his eagerly anticipated high school football debut.

Representing the prestigious Baylor School in Tennessee, the young signal-caller immediately attracted national attention this week.

During the season opener, against Brentwood Academy on Thursday night, he would get his chance to play. Limited snaps were taken by the Class of 2030 prospect in the second quarter. An eight-yard completion was recorded on an out route layered over a defender.

The young Manning showed a level of mobility on the play that his father never had.

Following in the footsteps of Hall of Fame royalty is certainly a monumental task for any teenager. Fortunately, Marshall Manning seems completely unbothered by the massive expectations surrounding his early high school career.

The jersey number worn by Marshall matched the one his father made famous at Tennessee.

Right now, Marshall is relegated to backup duties behind a four-star senior committed to Ole Miss. Once he is gone, Marshall is expected to take over.

Furthermore, his smooth throwing mechanics strongly resemble the classic style of his famous father and uncle. If he keeps this up, we should see him throwing darts for a Division 1 school in a few years.
