Marshon Lattimore’s mugshot has been released following his arrest this week.
The Washington Commanders’ cornerback was taken into custody after he was stopped in Lakewood, Ohio, on Wednesday.
3News is reporting that he was arrested on charges of carrying concealed weapons and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.
“Lakewood police told 3News that Lattimore was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for expired license plates and other traffic violations,” the outlet noted.
“Police said Lattimore was arrested for improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle because he did not inform the officer that a firearm was inside the vehicle when asked.”
Lattimore was released without bond pending further investigation after being booked.
“We have been made aware of the arrest and are gathering more information. We are in communication with the NFL League Office and have no further comment at this time,” a spokesperson for the Commanders said.
The player’s mugshot has since surfaced, as mentioned above, and is shown below:
This Isn’t Marshon Lattimore’s First Brush With The Law

Marshon Lattimore was arrested following a similar situation in Cleveland in 2021.
He pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon and was given a suspended sentence of 180 days in jail.
The 29-year-old was placed on one year of probation without reporting requirements.
He was taken off non-reporting supervision the following year after paying all costs and fees in full.
Lattimore joined the Commanders via trade after nearly eight seasons with the New Orleans Saints.
The 11th overall pick out of Ohio State in the 2017 NFL Draft, he ended his first campaign as the Defensive Rookie of the Year.
The Pro Bowl cornerback has one year left on his deal. He isn’t expected to return to Washington after tearing his ACL earlier in the season.
