Maxx Crosby can expect a call from the league office after an unnecessary cheap shot on Justin Herbert during Sunday’s contest between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.
During the fourth quarter of the Chargers’ blowout win, cameras caught the frustrated Raiders superstar defensive end exchanging words with Herbert. After Quentin Johnston caught a 10-yard pass, a furious Maxx Crosby went over and shoved Herbert to the ground, resulting in an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty:

This incident comes a week after Maxx Crosby was seen arguing with teammate Elandon Roberts during last Sunday’s home loss to the Cleveland Browns. Clearly, the continuous lopsided defeats are taking a toll on Crosby.
Crosby did his part to keep the Raiders in the game against the Chargers in the 24-10 loss, tallying two sacks, nine tackles and four tackles for a loss, per ESPN.
With the loss, the Raiders fall to 2-10 and are tied for the second-worst record in football, ahead of only the 1-11 Tennessee Titans.
