Maxx Crosby Explodes on Failed Ravens Trade: Breaks Silence and Reveals the One Team He Wants to Play For
This article was originally published on Total Pro Sports.

The last few days have been a whirlwind for Maxx Crosby. The Baltimore Ravens backed out of a blockbuster trade that would’ve made him a member of the team. Baltimore backed out of the trade for Crosby because of his physical and concerns regarding his long-term knee health.
The Ravens’ medical team identified, through an MRI, that while his short-term prognosis was good, his knee’s long-term condition didn’t meet their expectations. Their decision allowed them to retain their two first-round picks and ultimately sign defensive end Trey Hendrickson instead. The relationship between Crosby and the Raiders had soured late last season when the team shut him down against his wishes.
That led to last week’s decision to trade him, prompting Crosby to post an emotional goodbye video. Now, he is back and speaking out.
Maxx Crosby Expresses His Commitment To The Raiders

Whether he likes it or not, Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby is back where it all started. Crosby reaffirmed his commitment to the team after a trade that would’ve sent him to the Baltimore Ravens was called off on Tuesday.
“Everything Happens For A Reason. Believe Nothing You Hear & Half Of What You See. Im A Raider. I’m Back. Run That Sh*t,” Crosby wrote on his X account Wednesday. He also posted a GIF of WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker emerging from a flaming casket.

Crosby is two months removed from a full meniscus repair. The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported that teams that were interested in acquiring Crosby spoke to his surgeon, Dr. Neal ElAttrache, and the Raiders’ medical staff prior to making trade offers.
It remains unclear if the Raiders will get the two first-round draft picks that they covet in a trade for him. As of now, they are operating under the assumption that Maxx Crosby will play for the team in 2026.
