Maxx Crosby remains a hot topic around the NFL, even though he committed to the Las Vegas Raiders again. After the Baltimore Ravens backed out of the trade for the five-time Pro Bowler, Crosby changed his mind about playing elsewhere.

The Raiders never intended to trade Crosby, and they only tried to grant his wishes. Now that he returned to the team, nothing should stop them from continuing to build around the star defensive end. The feelings are mutual, as Crosby made a final decision on his future. Per Tom Pelissero (via Nick Walters on X), Crosby wants to stay in Las Vegas for the rest of his career.

ā€œMy understanding is when teams have been checking on this, they have been told the same thing that (Maxx Crosby) told everyone from Mark Davis to John Spytek to Klint Kubiak to Rob Leonard, which is Maxx wants to be a Raider. Maxx is no longer trying to get out of Las Vegas.ā€

Pelissero noted that teams are still interested in making a swing for Crosby, but that seems unlikely to happen at this moment.

ESPNā€™s John McFadden shared details of Maxx Crosbyā€™s failed trade to Baltimore. Team doctors had concerns about his knee and requested opinions from others. Crosbyā€™s durability beyond 2026 became a huge factor in the Ravensā€™ decision.

ā€œThe consensus was that Crosby would be able to play in 2026. The Ravensā€™ concern centered on the uncertainty of Crosbyā€™s durability after a couple of seasons in Baltimore because of a degenerative issue in his knee, a source told ESPN,ā€ McFadden wrote.

Time will tell if the latest update prompts opposing teams to stop pursuing Crosby. However, as things stand right now, he still has a market.
