Is Kid Rock a changed man? If so, he’s come a long way.

The 55-year-old artist was part of Turning Point USA’s ‘All-American Halftime Show’ for Super Bowl 60 on Sunday and received plaudits for his performance.

He went viral for poor lip-syncing. He was also very pro-Gospel at one point, talking up the Holy Bible.

“There’s a book that’s sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off,” he said. “There’s a man who died for all our sins hanging from the cross. You can give your life to Jesus, and he’ll give you a second chance…”

TPUSA did take off on a Christianity tangent as an alternative to what was expected to be a display of debauchery from the NFL and Bad Bunny. That didn’t turn out to be the case except for this one curious bit.

As his fans would know, Kid Rock has quite the history, so former ESPN host Michelle Beadle had a hard time believing this was the same man.

“Explaining to the young ones that peak Kid Rock took place on a bus with his bro twenty years ago. Anyhoo…Happy  Super Bowl Sunday,” she shared, along with a clip showing the rapper participating in some raunchy acts.

Check it out below:

Well, as the man himself said, this is all about second chances. As to whether he was being genuine is his own business.
