Myles Garrett Is Reportedly In Trouble With The Law Once Again

Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett enjoyed a record-breaking season in 2025, becoming the NFL’s undisputed sack leader.
It appears he’s looking to put some distance between himself and other chasers when it comes to speeding tickets. He’s now on his ninth since joining the NFL.
According to Cleveland reporter Mary Kay Cabot, police cited the defensive end for speeding in Northeast Ohio last month. He was reportedly driving at 94 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone in Congress Township.
“Myles Garrett was cited for speeding again in Northeast Ohio, this time going 94 in a 70 on I-71N on Feb. 21st in Congress Township. It’s at least his 9th speeding citation here since 2017 and the 2nd one since he flipped his Porsche in 2022,” Cabot reports.
Officers pulled Garrett over at 1:35 a.m. on February 21. Court records show he was polite and cooperative during the stop, but his calm demeanor did not save him from a citation.
He has a court date set for March 10, though he does not have to appear if he pays a $155 fine.
Of course, he shouldn’t think twice about paying the sum, given his mega-contract with the Browns, who are paying him $40 million a year.
Myles Garrett Was Pulled Over Less Than A Year Ago

As mentioned above, February’s stop marked the ninth time Garrett had been cited for speeding since becoming a pro.
Back in 2022, he flipped a Porsche in an incident that left him nursing a shoulder sprain. He also suffered a bicep strain.
Prior to his most recent stop, police pulled Garrett over in August 2025. He was caught driving at 100 mph in a 60 mph zone back then.
Garrett was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year after a season in which he registered 23 sacks, the most ever in a single NFL season.
He’s going to need to be more careful off the field, however.
