Tom Brady’s first season with the Las Vegas Raiders wasn’t exempt from controversy. Starting with the concerns about his presence at production meetings, which some thought could give him information about the Raiders’ opponents.
His role as an analyst for Fox Sports and his time with the Raiders raised eyebrows, but nothing major happened. A Wednesday report from Mike Silver shed light on Brady’s first season with the franchise and how one of his associates caused issues by intimidating and pissing off players and coaches, including Maxx Crosby.
Brady’s job as an analyst and the fact that he lives in Florida made it hard for players to see him in the building on a daily basis. Instead, the seven-time Super Bowl winner sent Alex Guerrero, who served as the Raiders’ “wellness coordinator in 2025.”
Tom Brady’s Trainer Rubbed Maxx Crosby The Wrong Way
Silver’s report indicates that Guerrero frustrated players, including Maxx Crosby, who is reportedly done with the franchise.
“Like many players and coaches, Crosby was frustrated by the presence of Alex Guerrero, a staunch Brady ally whose official title is wellness coordinator,” Silver wrote.
“Guerrero, who regularly attends practices and meetings, purports to possess significant organizational power, informing players of impending transactions and even indicating to staff members who don’t follow his instructions that their jobs may be at risk.
“Guerrero is perceived to have a direct pipeline to Brady, who lives in Florida and serves as Fox’s lead NFL analyst, limiting his in-person presence. Suffice it to say that there are trust issues permeating the Raiders’ training facility in Henderson, Nev.”
Crosby reportedly informed Brady that he played his final game with the Raiders. This saga appears to have just started, and the more details fans know, the more unlikely it seems to see Crosby on the Raiders next season.
