New Camera Angle of Drake Maye’s Touchdown vs. Giants on ‘MNF’ Will Leave You Speechless [VIDEO]

Drake Maye’s 33-yard touchdown throw to Kyle Williams on Monday night was breathtaking to watch in real time, but the regular angle shown on ESPN’s broadcast doesn’t do justice.
The New England Patriots’ star quarterback bolstered his MVP case with a lights-out performance against the New York Giants on ‘Monday Night Football.’ Drake Maye completed 24 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns to go along with 12 rushing yards in the 33-15 victory.
New England’s best defensive play of the game was Christian Elliss’ bone-crunching and perfectly clean hit on Jaxson Dart. On offense, it was easily Maye’s 33-yard time to the rookie wideout for six:

Take another look at this alternate camera angle, and Drake Maye’s TD strike to Kyle Williams is even more jaw-dropping:
What a catch.

Maye is already drawing comparisons to Patriots legend Tom Brady. The latter won his first Super Bowl in New England as a sophomore, so perhaps Maye is just writing the same story 24 years later.
Drake Maye Is The New Front-Runner To Win MVP

The Patriots’ blowout win over the Giants, coupled with Matthew Stafford’s three-turnover outing in the Los Angeles Rams’ loss to the Carolina Panthers, has pushed Maye back into the driver’s seat for MVP honors.
Per Pro Football Reference, Maye is now completing 71.5 percent of pass attempts for 3,412 yards, 23 touchdowns, six interceptions to go along with 319 rushing yards and two rushing scores.
There’s still plenty of football to be played, and Stafford and Indianapolis Colts star running back Jonathan Taylor still have time to strengthen their cases. All it takes is a couple of bad outings from Maye to lose his spot as the odds-on favorite, after all.
New England is on a bye this week, and then they’ll return home to face the Buffalo Bills in Week 15.
