Tyler Loop made thousands of fans inside Acrisure Stadium have the most significant moment of their lives. Unfortunately, it came at the expense of himself and his team.
With two seconds left on the clock, the Baltimore Ravens set their rookie up to send them into the playoffs. Loop trotted out to the field with confidence. Unfortunately, his leg did not have that same confidence on this night. His kick missed, sailing to the right of the goal posts, ending the Ravens’ season.
By now, many fans have seen multiple angles of that missed kick. We have now gotten one of the best shots of the night. One fan who was seated to the left of the uprights recorded the moment Tyler Loop missed.
As soon as it sailed right, Acrisure Stadium exploded. The person’s phone went up and down constantly as you heard cheers of joy from the fan base.

The Steelers will now move on to have a home game against the Houston Texans. Baltimore is headed home, wishing they had another chance. If refs hadn’t missed a crucial penalty on that field goal, things might be different.
Tyler Loop Got A Bad Break
Baltimore Ravens kicker Tyler Loop had a chance to send his team to the playoffs as AFC North champions. He attempted a 44-yard field goal in the closing seconds of Sunday night’s game at the rival Pittsburgh Steelers. That kick failed miserably.
Everything the Ravens did could be second-guessed. With a timeout in their pocket, the team elected to kneel the ball in the middle of the field with seconds to play. They had a chance to run at least one more play to make that field goal easier.
Instead, they put all of their hopes and dreams into a rookie kicker who has never experienced this type of moment. It left Lamar Jackson stunned, and his teammates were in complete silence.
Now, the Ravens head into a murky offseason having to think about the what-ifs and what could’ve been. Tyler Loop is only a rookie and kicked well enough to stay on the team. He took responsibility for the miss, saying he simply “mishit the ball.”
It’s just unfortunate that he will shoulder the blame for the season.
