AJ Brown has attracted interest from another serious suitor as he looks to make his way out of Philadelphia.

The Eagles wide receiver was constant in expressing his disenchantment with the team last season. And, while the NFC East champions insist they want to keep him, it’s believed that he is available for trade at the right price.

Philly has reportedly lowered its asking price for the player in recent weeks after rejecting an insane offer, and a new team is now believed to have joined the race.

According to NFL Network’s Brian Baldinger, the Denver Broncos are in play for the wantaway wideout.

The Broncos are obviously very happy with their quarterback, Bo Nix. But they are thought to be keen on upgrading their receiver room.

Mutual Interest Reported Between AJ Brown & Denver Broncos

The NFL Draft isn’t far off, yet general manager George Paton could be looking to augment the receiving corps before the selection period.

Denver’s WR room consists of Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims, Pat Bryant, Adam Trautman and Evan Engram. That is, of course, a pretty dependable group. However, a player of AJ Brown’s quality would come in as a massive addition.

As such, Baldinger claims there is mutual interest between Brown and the Broncos.

“I’ll be interested to see if the price drops on AJ Brown, if that’s still a possibility,” he told DNVR Sports. “I know that there’s interest there on both sides. Maybe tepid, but some interest — at least enough to inquire to what the asking price is.”

“Howie Roseman hasn’t really budged off of what he wants. But you know, maybe as time goes on here through the day, maybe there’s a renewed interest in that,” he added.

The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams were among Brown’s known suitors in recent times. The Rams are no longer thought to have an interest, but the Patriots are reportedly still keen on getting a deal done.

Denver could make things interesting.
