NFC Powerhouse Pairs Myles Garrett With Another All-Pro Pass Rusher In Blockbuster Trade Proposal That Would Flip The Super Bowl Odds

Even though the franchise denied that they are laying the ground for an eventual Myles Garrett trade, the Cleveland Browns could shock the league and send the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year to a different team.
Garrett, fresh off breaking the league’s single-season sack record, once again became a sought-after player. While he backed out of his trade request last offseason, Garrett could inevitably find a new home in the coming weeks or months.
Plenty of teams would be thrilled to have him on the roster, but only a handful could have a real shot. The Buffalo Bills wouldn’t be the only contenders trying to land Garrett, as one NFC powerhouse emerged as a solid option for the pass rusher.
NFC West Giants Could Make A Huge Splash And Land Myles Garrett

On Thursday, John Breech of CBS Sports mentioned the San Francisco 49ers as a potential landing spot for Garrett. Their pass rush struggled mightily last season after Nick Bosa suffered a season-ending injury three games into the season. Pairing Garrett with Bosa would terrorize opposing defenses.
“Garrett had more sacks last season (23) than the 49ers did as a team (20),” Breech wrote. “San Francisco finished with the fewest sacks in the NFL and needs any help it can get in the pass-rushing department. The team has already signed 33-year-old Mike Evans and appears all-in for 2026, making a Garrett trade the ultimate aggressive move.”
Rookie pass rusher Mykel Williams also suffered a season-ending injury. If they land Garrett and have the other two guys ready to go, the 49ers could be instant contenders. Even if they don’t, it seems that the defense will be in a good place.
