NFL Accused Of “Rigging” Two Big Games On Sunday

With 11 weeks of NFL games nearly gone, fans have had reasons to accuse the league of rigging games with each passing slate, or at least that’s what they believe.
This week was no different, with two games in particular standing out as far as they were concerned.
The Philadelphia Eagles produced a defensive masterclass to beat the Detroit Lions on Sunday, with the game ending 16-9.
The Super Bowl winners were unable to match their defense’s excellence when they had the football; one star was called out for showing an apparent lack of effort on a play, but they made life hard enough for Jared Goff to clinch an eighth win at home, to the point where head coach Nick Sirianni laughed at him.
Things could have gone down to the wire, but a controversial pass interference penalty all but sealed Detroit’s fate after the refs deemed Rock Ya-Sin made too much contact with A.J. Brown on a late third down.
“The refs called this pass interference on the defense. Sickening,” Barstool Sports shared.

“The @NFL is rigged!! The Lions and Eagles forgot how to play offense and the game was essentially ended on the WORST DPI call I’ve ever witnessed. C’MON MAN!! @NFLOfficiating Stacks of cash on the over. 🤔 Overreaction?” another wrote.

Another One Of Sunday’s NFL Games Left Fans Frustrated

Sunday’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals was pretty eventful in that regard. The main talking point was Ja’Marr Chase spitting on Jalen Ramsey and getting punched before the defensive star was ejected. He has since gone viral for lying about the incident.
Steelers running back Kenneth Gainwell’s contributions were also of note after it was reported that he wouldn’t be used all that much on offense, but ended up being the primary rusher in the 34-12 win.
“Every media outlet this entire week reported that Jaylen Warren is the feature back & Kenneth Gainwell has been phased out of the offense Fast forward to this week, Kenneth Gainwell is getting every touch out of the backfield The NFL is so rigged with sports betting its gross,” one fan wrote.
“Sh**s crazy man. And Warren is the better back. Makes no sense,” another responded.

The week isn’t quite over yet; the Dallas Cowboys are playing the Las Vegas Raiders away on ‘Monday Night Football’. There’s still plenty of time for more “rigged” claims.
