NFL Bettor Watched In Real Time As He Lost Six Figures Due To Tyler Loop’s Missed Field Goal [VIDEO]

Tyler Loop upset thousands of Baltimore Ravens fans on Sunday night. He cost at least one man a lot of money.
One NFL fan placed a $100,000 bet on the Baltimore Ravens to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers at Bet MGM. If they had won, he would have received $52,631.60, bringing his total to $152,631.60.
While at the sportsbook, the fan watched as Tyler Loop lined up for the final play of the game. That kick would sail right, and the people inside the sportsbook went nuts. The bettor immediately put his hands on his head. He was in the same disbelief that Lamar Jackson was on the sidelines.

The poor held his mouth open and just stared at the television, knowing he had just lost six figures in three hours.
If he had $100,000 to put on Tyler Loop and the Ravens, then he might not be hurting that bad for money. Then again, sports betting has led to many financially illiterate people making even worse decisions. I wonder how he felt when he realized that the Steelers got away with a penalty on that play.
Tyler Loop Shared His Honest Feelings On the Missed Kick

In one of the most exciting AFC North head-to-head matchups in recent memory, Tyler Loop etched his name in history. It was bad history on his part. His missed kick changed the fortunes of two franchises.
It was ultimately a missed 44-yard field goal attempt from the Baltimore Ravens that gave the Pittsburgh Steelers the Week 18 win.
Following Sunday Night Football, an emotional Loop spoke to reporters to explain what happened. “Operation was great. It was a great situation, exactly what we wanted. And unfortunately, I just mishit the ball,” Loop told reporters.
“We call it hitting it thin. It spins fast and goes off to the right. Yeah, that was it.”
Loop and his fiancée, Julia Otto, were harassed on social media after his 44-yard missed field goal sealed Sunday’s 26-24 loss. Some made it personal in the comments section, while others sent death threats.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was seen consoling Tyler Loop, as captured in a video of them walking to the visitors’ locker room at Acrisure Stadium. His rookie season ended with him making 90 percent of his field goal tries before that last failed attempt.
The Ravens (8-9) missed the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
