If Kevin Stefanski wants fans to think he has nothing against Shedeur Sanders? Well, let’s just say he did himself zero favors today.

Fans have been wondering if Stefanski has anything against his rookie quarterback. For instance, Sanders didn’t get a game ball after winning his first NFL start against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12.

After that game, a reporter even asked Shedeur Sanders about his relationship with Kevin Stefanski. The rookie quarterback emphasized that things were just fine between them.

But it’s hard to fully believe Sanders after Stefanski’s horrible play call at the end of Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.

Trailing 31-23 with a minute left, Sanders found Harold Fannin Jr. for a seven-yard touchdown. Needing a two-point conversion to tie, Stefanski inexplicably removed his red-hot quarterback from the game.

And the play call? Absolutely pathetic:

Confused NFL fans think that Stefanski’s reason for the awful play call was simple: The man just doesn’t like Sanders.

“FIRE STEFANSKI!,” a furious Skip Bayless said.

“Kevin Stefanski literally just watched Shedeur Sanders execute 2 clutch td drives and took him off the field with the game on the line,” a user wrote.

“What is Kevin Stefanski doing?? Why would he take Shedeur Sanders out of the game? Fire him. I’ve seen more than enough. wtf??,” said a fan.

“Stefanski should forfeit them coach of the year trophies tomorrow,” another commented.

“Kevin Stefanski actually hates Shedeur 😂,” said a user.

Indeed, it was a bizarre decision to take out a quarterback who had 364 passing yards and four total touchdowns, per ESPN.
