Nevertheless, the Oregon product has still been efficient and reliable when needed. So far, he’s completed 65.6 percent of his passes for 3,191 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions, per Football Reference. He also has 69 carries for 419 yards and one score on the ground.

To make it more impressive, Herbert has had to play behind an injury-riddled offensive line, with most of the starters either struggling or getting hurt. He’s been sacked 49 times for a loss of 266 yards.

Still, the Chargers are marching strong with a 10-4 record. They will look to clinch a playoff berth on Sunday with a road win over the Dallas Cowboys.
