Jamie Erdahl has become one of the most beloved hosts in the NFL media after she joined NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” in 2022. Erdahl was a well-known name in college basketball before taking the NFL gig, as she worked as a sideline reporter for CBS Sports.

With one of the most important weeks of the NFL offseason underway, Erdahl was nowhere to be found during this week’s episodes of “GMFB.” The host took to social media to explain the reason behind her sudden absence.

“Since curiosity is mounting I’ll share what I feel comfortable with: I have been away from @GMFB due to an extremely personal + tragic health situation of an immediate family member. I want to thank my leaders at the NFL for allowing me this time at home. I’ll be back on Monday,” she tweeted on Wednesday.

Fans Sent Prayers After Jamie Erdahl’s Bad News

It didn’t take long for fans to show their support to Erdahl. Her comment section was flooded with positive wishes.
