NFL Fans Are Worried Someone Is Going To Lose Their Life While “Watching Derek Carr Highlights” On Allegiant Stadium’s Stunning New Video Screen [VIDEO]

Allegiant Stadium, the home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, has a fascinating feature that’s slick but equally dangerous.
Mark Davis relocated the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas in 2020, with the city providing him with a top-of-the-line, brand-new stadium. Known as “The Death Star,” Allegiant Stadium hosted Super Bowl 58 between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, with Patrick Mahomes leading his team to victory in overtime.
Allegiant Stadium is regarded as one of the best sporting venues in the country, and rightfully so. That said, they might want to give greater consideration to public and traffic safety.
A viral video has surfaced of the Las Vegas Raiders showing team highlights on an outdoor screen. Conveniently located along the highway, it’s a cool feature…if you’re a passenger:

Fans immediately voiced their concerns, with one X user imagining the possibility of someone losing their life because they “NEEDED to watch Derek Carr highlights.”
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that 315,167 people were injured by distracted driving in 2024. So yeah, maybe the Raiders shouldn’t be playing football highlights outside their arena along a major highway.
Optimism Brewing About New-Look Raiders For 2026

The Raiders finished as the worst team in football in 2025 with a 3-14 record. The team made sweeping changes, firing head coach Pete Carroll. The Raiders also traded quarterback Geno Smith to the New York Jets.
Las Vegas hired former Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as its new head coach. The team will likely draft Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 pick in this month’s draft.
The Raiders signed Kirk Cousins to a one-year deal on Thursday. That’s a good indicator that they’ll have Cousins open 2026 as the starter, with Mendoza backing him up.
Maxx Crosby is also back in Sin City following the nixed blockbuster trade with the Baltimore Ravens. With something to prove, Crosby should be motivated to turn in a career year.
