Najee Harris did not have a good 4th of July celebration last year. He had a mishap with fireworks. Not only was he injured, but multiple people as well dealt with their own ailments after the fiasco.

Harris suffered an unspecified, superficial eye injury, according to reports. His injury required medical treatment at that time. It was reported that he was treated at John Muir Hospital in Concord. 

Good thing there were no further incidents during his celebrations this year. More than a year has passed, and a recent close-up photo has led fans to speculate about how serious Harris’s injury was.

Najee Harris’ Official Giants Photo Revealed The Massive Scar

Harris, now with the New York Giants, has become the talk of the town. No, it’s not his gameplay that’s being discussed. It’s the massive scar on his eye that has caught fans’ attention.

While his eye has looked okay in his official photo as a member of the Giants, the deep scars might have been from the fireworks mishap in 2025.

It was also pointed out that he has an earpiece. However, if reports about the incident are to be followed, Najee Harris sustained a minor, surface-level injury near his eye. There were no reports of an ear injury.

Those scars seem to correlate with the reports regarding his fireworks accident over a year ago.

Giants Give Harris A Chance

After a brutal Achilles tendon injury last year as a member of the Los Angeles Chargers, suiting up for the 2026 season became a massive challenge for the renowned running back.

Left without many options, Najee Harris decided to try out for the New York Giants last month. Impressed with the former Pro Bowl’s conditioning, the team went on to sign him on a one-year, $1.2 million deal.

Coach John Harbaugh has said that Harris was in good shape when he arrived at the Giants’ camp. Moreover, his improvement has impressed the team’s brass, resulting in a deal.
