With the NFL season still more than two months away, Melanie Collins is enjoying her offseason.
On Saturday, the CBS Sports sideline reporter shared a swimsuit selfie on Instagram, giving fans a look at how she is spending her time away from football.
Fans noticed the pic and got quite excited, as everyone knows Collins from her work on CBS game broadcasts, but now she often posts her daily updates on social media.
Collins has worked in sports broadcasting for many years. She joined CBS Sports in 2018 after working for ESPN and Yahoo Sports. However, she is now the lead sideline reporter on the CBS broadcast team with play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan and analyst Trent Green.
Collins Enjoys A Break Before Another NFL Season

According to her Paramount biography, Collins began at CBS Sports Network as a college football and college basketball sideline reporter before moving to the NFL. She also worked as a fill-in host for ESPN programs “SportsNation” and “First Take.”
Before joining CBS, Collins served as the face of Yahoo Sports. Her work took her to many of the world’s biggest sporting events, including the Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl, NCAA Football National Championship, Stanley Cup Playoffs, Final Four, NFL Draft, NBA Finals and World Series. She also hosted “Big Break” and “Driver vs. Driver” on Golf Channel and led Yahoo Sports’ weekly show “Fantasy Football Live.”

Collins wrapped up the 2025 NFL season on the sidelines during the NFC Championship Game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks. She interviewed players and coaches throughout another demanding year on the road.
She has often spoken about the travel that comes with covering the NFL. In the past, Collins said the league’s schedule has forced her to spend “many hours” of her life sitting on airplanes.
That demanding routine makes the offseason especially valuable. Her latest Instagram story is a pure example of how she is relaxing.
Training camps will begin in the coming weeks, and Collins will soon head back to the sidelines for another NFL season with CBS.
