New England Patriots teammates Joshua Farmer and Marcus Bryant got engaged this weekend.

Of course, the players did not get engaged to each other, but that’s what Dov Kleiman made it sound like… on purpose. 

“Congrats! Patriots teammates, Joshua Farmer and Marcus Bryant, got engaged this weekend 🥹❤️,” he wrote in a tweet, adding, “Love is in the air in New England.”

He waited five minutes before posting separate photos of the Patriots tackles proposing to their partners. 

“Congrats to the happy couples ❤️,” he captioned that one.

Some fans were confused; however, most saw through Dov’s antics, though they still found it funny. 

“Engaged to be married? What’s happening,” someone asked.

“Ohhhh s**t nah this mf be baiting 😭😭,” a fan wrote.

“you know what you doing,” said another.

“Who else was asking the same question I was thinking of,” someone else asked.

“Why the post is so confusing? Imagine someone doesn’t see these photos, maybe he’ll thing that the players are engaged to each other,” a user lamented.
