One Coach Is Already the Clear Favorite for 2026 NFL Coach of the Year
This article was originally published on Total Pro Sports.

The 2026 coaching carousel was one of the most intense in recent memory. 10 teams entered the offseason looking to hire a new head coach, and plenty of candidates were up for grabs.
Not everybody could secure a new head-coaching job and had to settle for a coordinator role (i.e., Brian Daboll and Mike McDaniel). Meanwhile, others didn’t need to wait for long before landing a new gig.
Plenty of teams look like serious candidates to bounce back in 2026, especially teams like the New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens, and, if things fall into place, the Las Vegas Raiders. With all the coaching changes, some arrived in a positive situation, while others will have to work hard to achieve their goals.
Odds Show John Harbaugh Is The Favorite To Win 2026 NFL Coach Of The Year Award

As of March, there is an overwhelming favorite to win Coach of the Year for the 2026 season. Oddsmakers have John Harbaugh as the favorite (+500) to win the prize. He signed a five-year, $100 million contract with the New York Giants, according to reports.
His replacement in Baltimore, Jesse Minter, clocks in as second (+800). Titans’ Robert Saleh (+1000), Saints’ Kellen Moore (+1200), Bills’ Joe Brady (+1200), and Steelers’ Mike McCarthy (+1200) are also among the favorites.
Harbaugh’s arrival in New York promises nothing but good things for the Big Blue. The Giants still have roster holes to fill, but Harbaugh’s approach makes fans optimistic about the franchise’s future.
