Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson went into his team’s Thursday Night Football game as their leader in receiving yards and touchdowns.
Watson had registered 595 yards and six TDs ahead of tonight’s clash with the Carolina Panthers.
Unfortunately, he collided with Panthers CB Will Lee on a pass from Jordan Love in the second quarter and was taken to hospital.
Reporter Kaylee Hartung noted that Watson went to the hospital with a chest injury for precautionary reasons.

The Packers listed Watson as questionable to return. The Prime Video broadcast also showed him getting into an ambulance on his own power.

Lee went down holding his left leg, and Carolina ruled the cornerback doubtful to return with a hamstring injury. The Panthers were already without cornerbacks Mike Jackson and Jaycee Horn.
This is not the first time a chest injury has sent Watson to the hospital.
He left a loss to the Denver Broncos in the third quarter last December. Doctors evaluated him at a local hospital, and he later traveled home with the team.
