The Carolina Panthers shocked everyone with their play against the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday. Many expected Los Angeles to have few issues. Carolina certainly gave them a scare.

Outside Bank of America Stadium, fans were in a fevered pitch to see their first home playoff game in ten years. One fan even sold alcohol to others before he got caught. Inside the stadium, fans were loud.

It started off badly as the home team went down 14-0 before you could blink. However, they fought back and would only be down three at halftime.

In the stands, there was even more action. Two fans from the opposing fan bases were arguing with each other over an unknown issue. As we all know, alcohol combined with team fandom is enough to cause fireworks. Footage shows a Panthers fan holding a pizza and ducking away from a slap from a Rams fan.

That fan from Los Angeles then comes back and slaps the Carolina fan in his face. That was a bad idea. The two men then began to grab each other before the Panthers fan dropped that Rams fan on his back.

Things only got worse for him. After a few more punches, a knee to the face would seemingly break the nose of that visiting fan. He wanted no more action after that as he got up and ran away.

The Los Angeles Rams beat the Carolina Panthers 34-31. It looked like the Rams would dominate the Panthers early on, but Carolina wouldn’t go quietly. The potential MVP came through in the clutch with a go-ahead touchdown with 38 seconds left.

“Total team effort, Matt Stafford said after the game.

Los Angeles advanced to the divisional round of the playoffs for the second year in a row.
