Patrick Mahomes Sr. is back in jail this week.
The father of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was arrested in Texas. Mahomes Sr. was back in the Smith County Jail after violating a term of his probation for a driving-while-intoxicated sentence.
The 55-year-old former MLB player was booked in Smith County Jail at 8:53 AM, per TMZ Sports.
It was back in 2024 when he made major waves after being arrested just before the Super Bowl. He was to serve a five-year probation sentence following that DWI arrest. Luckily, his son was able to lead his team to victory over the 49ers. Five months after that arrest, he was arrested again.
What made matters worse was the released footage showing the senior name-dropping Patrick Mahomes in an effort to get out of his arrest. It did not work. At the time, he admitted to having a few drinks but insisted he was not drunk. He pleaded with an officer to allow someone to pick him up, saying an arrest would be too much for the Chiefs’ QB to handle.
He was placed into a squad car, where he was shown begging to be released.
As for his new arrest, it is believed that locals reported Patrick Mahomes Sr for drinking alcohol. That is a no-no under his probation. Following his detainment, a mugshot would soon be released, and he did not look happy about it.
