Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was arrested this week over domestic abuse allegations. The 28-year-old was arrested and booked into the Brown County jail on three domestic abuse charges. Those charges were battery, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct, according to the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department.
He was also booked on two other charges — intimidation of a victim and strangulation and suffocation. Only the strangulation and suffocation charges are felonies, while the others are misdemeanors.
These charges stem from a “disturbance complaint” that officers responded to Saturday morning, Hobart-Lawrence Police Department Chief Michael Renkas said in a press release. Now we are getting more information as to what happened that fateful night.
Dispatch Audio Revealed That Josh Jacobs Fled The Scene

Ashley Washburn, TMJ4 sports reporter, posted extended police dispatch audio from a Saturday disturbance at Packers RB Josh Jacobs’ home. It captured reports of yelling, screaming, and things being thrown.
Two calls prompted a response: one from a woman for help and another from a neighbor alleging assault. The alleged male suspect left in a Mercedes G-Wagon before crews arrived and was tracked via license plate readers.

Josh Jacobs was arrested on Tuesday on preliminary domestic abuse charges, including battery, strangulation, and intimidation. However, he was released as the district attorney requested more investigation before formal charging.
As for the woman in the situation, Ash Kash, she seemingly hinted that something was going on with a cryptic tweet on X the day before his arrest. On the 22nd, Kash was on X and posted, “Tough love” sounds like cruelty to me.”
Josh Jacobs spent his first five NFL seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, who selected him in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Alabama. He has spent the last two seasons with the Packers.
