Authorities in San Francisco have sounded out a warning to anyone looking to hire sex workers for Super Bowl weekend.

The Bay Area is bustling with activity, with Levi’s Stadium set to host Sunday’s big game. An estimated 1.3 million people are believed to have traveled to the city for the Seahawks-Patriots showdown.

Of course, whenever that many people flock to one location for anything, there’s likely going to be some debauchery.

As such, San Francisco Cops have reported having made several prostitution arrests heading into Sunday.

They are now urging folks to stay away from commercial sex because they are cracking down.

“Come have a good time at the Super Bowl. Don’t engage in commercial sex because we’re out in force and we’re enforcing the laws!” Santa Clara County Human Trafficking Task Force Commander Josh Singleton warned, per TMZ.

Singleton said his officers have arrested people who have forced women and underage girls into sex work, both online and on the street.

He added that some of these victims were forced to have sex as many as 15 times per day.

According to the authorities, clients have paid as much as $350 per 30-minute session, though services can drop to $60.

Fortunately, Singleton has reported a spike in arrests, thanks to undercover operations. Moreover, he reckons there will be additional arrests over the next few days.
