President Donald Trump made a bold promise to the nation minutes before Super Bowl 60 began on Sunday.

Two weeks ago, Donald Trump said he wouldn’t attend Super Bowl 60 at Levi’s Stadium because it was “too far away.” The 79-year-old was also heavily critical of the NFL’s decision to have Bad Bunny headline the Super Bowl halftime show.

Just before kickoff, President Trump praised his controversial tariffs and predicted that there would be a 100,000 Dow Jones Industrial Average (DOW) by the time he leaves office in 2029:

“Record Stock Market, and National Security, driven by our Great TARIFFS. I am predicting 100,000 on the DOW by the end of my Term. REMEMBER, TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING! I hope the United States Supreme Court is watching.”

According to the latest polling from The Economist, Trump’s net approval rating is -15. The poll shows that 56 percent of Americans disapprove of the polarizing president, with only 41 percent approving.

Even though White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump would watch TPUSA’s alternate halftime show instead of Bad Bunny, evidence shows the opposite. A video surfaced of Bad Bunny’s concert playing on the TVs at the president’s Super Bowl party, held at the Trump International Golf Club.

Trump also called Bad Bunny’s halftime show “one of the worst, EVER!” That strongly indicates that Trump actually watched Bad Bunny’s halftime show, despite Leavitt’s claim that he’d be supporting Kid Rock.

We’ll have to wait and see what the final ratings show for the TPUSA and Super Bowl 60 halftime shows. Don’t be surprised if Trump, a well-known lover of TV ratings, has something to say about that.
